If you're familiar with Stampin' Up!, you might be thinking...the Stampin' Up! Retired List is early this year. And you'd be right! That's because the NEW 2012/2013 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog will also be early this year too...June 1st.

To make room for all the fresh new stamps on their way, it's time to say goodbye to some of old our favorites.  This is your chance to get them before they're gone. (Note:  Be sure to stop back on April 25th for the Retired Accessories List)

When you view the retiring stamps list, you may notice it's longer than in years past. During this transition to the new annual catalog, there are a higher number of stamps being refreshed and replaced than usual. While many stamps are going away, most are being replaced so that the breadth of our stamp lines is every bit as broad as ever, making the NEW 2012/2013 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog as exciting as ever!!

Summer Smooches Projects

April Drawing

Congratulations to Ellen Bopp and Carla Hogan - they were both my big winners for March drawings.  Ellen won the online drawing contest for the Something to Celebrate stamp set and Simply Sent card kit, and Carla won my hostess drawing for a $50 basket of Stampin' Up goodies. 

Thank you to everyone who placed orders, hosted parties and attended classes in March - it was my biggest month of the Stampin' Up year.  Another couple months like March, and I may just earn the incentive trip to Fiji.  :)  I only 3 months left to earn the trip (June 30, 2012) so the countdown is on...

Happy Easter - He is Risen!

I wanted to share this gorgeous sugar egg that my friend Mary Jo created for me.  She is such a crafty girl!  I hope she tries out for the Artisian Award team at Stampin' Up this year.  She is incredible!

 

 

And how about a quick card share... this Easter card features the single stamp Easter Dove from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  It's perfect for Easter but a great year round stamp, too.

I hope you are spending time with your loved ones this Easter weekend.  My dad and his wife came for a visit yesterday.  They live 4 1/2 hours away from me, and I never get to spend as much time as I would like with them.  :)

And the cousins enjoyed an Easter egg hunt... not too old yet to hunt for candy and money.  :)

Okay, so I know it's supposed to April Showers bring May Flowers... but... We had a week long rain last week and a gorgeous weekend here in Kansas.  There are flowers popping up everywhere!  How about some flower-filled craft projects:

Dresden Die Cut

One of our new dies in the Occasions Mini Catalog is the Dresden die.  It was specifically designed for fabric and quilting.  So how about a few samples:

Crosses of Hope

I loved this set the first time I looked through the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog.  I think it is perfect for Easter as well as other religious events (baptism, confirmation, wedding, etc.)

Hope you enjoyed these samples of the Crosses of Hope stamp set from Leadership.  Registration is coming soon for the annual Stampin' Up Convention in Salt Lake City this July.  I missed convention last year, so I'm started to feel the excitement... :)
